How You Can Support The Project:
Please read the instructions first, then select the Estrella Mountain Regional Park Survey link to participate.
1. Select “Estrella Mountain Regional Park”
You do not need to fill out the entire Survey. Instead, scroll down to the last question at the bottom of the Survey which is “What amenities or facilities would you like added or improved within the park?”.
2. Select “Other” and write in “Arizona Whitewater Adventure Park” and then submit.

Project Purpose:
* Improve Estrella Mountain Regional Park in Goodyear, AZ
* Estrella Park become a unique, large-scale non-profit outdoor
recreation facility
* Year-round inexpensive public recreation
* Connect the public with nature and a sense of community in open spaces
* Reduce negative impacts on ecosystems associated with outdoor recreation
* Increase quality of life and promote healthy lifestyles
* New tourism demand generator that creates jobs and economic
opportunities
* Showcase Arizona’s beauty and become a major Southwest attraction
The project is being introduced during the Estrella Park Master Plan Update process, which
includes a 30-day public comment period. Be prepared to participate and provide input when
the 30-day period is identified in the near future. The Maricopa County Parks and Recreation
Department hasn’t set a date yet.
